Seeking a new and challenging opportunity to further enhance your career? Corteva Agriscience Research & Development currently has an opportunity for a Business Analyst Intern. This position creates value for the R&D organization by leading cross-functional projects, programs, and teams to generate sustainable improvements in research productivity and decision-making. The Business Analyst Intern partners with resources embedded across Corteva and within the R&D organization to create communities of practice and establish a culture of operational excellence.
Position duties will include, but not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the research organization to gather and document business requirements.
- Work with subject matter experts to document current business processes and identify pain points.
- Design and propose process implements, including workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures, to end-users to ensure solutions align with their requirements.
- Develop low-code line of business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform to improve operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain Power BI report to visualize and communicate data insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in the implementation of new procedures and tools including training, documentation, demonstrations, and end-user support.
Job Qualifications
To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- Proficiency in use of Microsoft Power Platform applications. Including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Proficiency in common Microsoft applications including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively build and maintain relationships
- Strong bias for action and demonstrated owner’s mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels
- Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change
- Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to balance pragmatism and perfection
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience with SQL, Azure, or other database applications
- Professional degree or business-related certifications a plus
- Experience with project management or six sigma concepts and methodologies
- Demonstrated business acumen, including financial operations or investment valuation
- Experience with automation or other technology-related productivity concepts
- Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and data analysis and visualization
