We are looking for a highly motivated student to join our Fundamental Equities team from May to August of 2026!
Our Summer Intern Program is designed to support the development of students and recent graduates for future positions by offering one-on-one mentoring, peer and experiential learning, internal training programs, and much more. We are currently accepting applications for undergraduate and master’s level students or recent graduates seeking the opportunity to work in the investment management space.
Working under the direction of the Managing Directors, Fundamental Equities, the summer student will be involved in supporting the evaluation of potential investments and preparing investment reviews and recommendations in collaboration with the team, including company and industry overviews, investment rationales, and due diligence reviews.
The Summer Intern will conduct in-depth research and work alongside the team to identify investment opportunities. This position works within broad guidelines, policies and agreed methods to help structure decisions as well as demonstrate investment judgement in completing assignments and team interactions.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct research and analysis on a broad range of topics to support investment decision-making across the Fundamental Equities asset class.
- Apply sound investment and investment analysis specific knowledge to build and analyze financial models and perform valuation analysis (i.e., DCF models, multiples, and comparable company analysis), applying financial analysis and judgment to support investment decisions
- Working directly with investment professionals in the Fundamental Equities group supporting the evaluation of potential company investments
- Produce reports and analysis to be utilized by the senior team in the decision-making process and provides support in general analysis and review of investments and the portfolio. The goal is to have the intern play a role in the investment analysis of at least two investment reports.
- Participate in meetings with the management of public companies, industry experts and sell-side equity research analysts
What do you need to succeed?
- A student entering 3rd or 4th year at the time of placement, studying Finance, Business, or a related field
- A keen interest in Public Equities markets and investment management
- Strong quantitative, analytical, financial modeling (including an understanding of income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow statements), and researching skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with financial databases is a plus (Bloomberg/Capital IQ)
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues in a clear and compelling manner and present information to internal stakeholders
- The successful candidate must demonstrate curiosity, willingness to learn, and the capacity to use critical thinking to solve problems
