The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2026! The internship will begin in May and last 10-12 weeks. You will be expected to work 100% on-site in the Sarasota, FL office.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is for individuals interested in a broad area of electrical and software engineering
  • The ideal candidate should have strong academic credentials and experience in working in a teamwork environment, having not only academic, but also interpersonal skills to help optimize our teams
  • The single most important attribute is an inquisitive nature and a strong desire to learn real world applications to compliment your academic experience
  • Familiarity with hardware or software tools should be at a level that is appropriate for your academic level
  • The Sarasota team also provides the following unique opportunities for development:

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
  • Ability to meet normal demands associated with an office environment
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face

Desired:

  • Software development experience
  • RF and Digital hardware experience
  • Analog circuit design experience
  • Computer architecture experience
  • Signal processing experience
  • Hardware/software test development experience
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience
  • Participation in professional/community/extracurricular activities

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$39,400 - $75,900
