Job Description

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2026 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business.

Responsibilities/daily duties: 

  • Assist in reviewing customer specifications to help identify system-level performance requirements and potential risks

  • Support the development of component-level requirement specifications under guidance from senior engineers

  • Help maintain and track requirement compliance using tools such as VCRMs (Verification Cross Reference Matrices)

  • Participate in system-level risk assessments and document management activities

  • Support interface documentation and tracking for EBAD devices and related components

  • Work with the team to help coordinate development milestones and prepare materials for program reviews

  • Help identify task interdependencies and assist with prioritization under supervision

  • Contribute to internal communication efforts, including status updates and issue tracking

  • Assist in compiling data and insights to help advise Program Managers on potential schedule risks

  • Support investigation and documentation efforts for unexpected technical issues or anomalies

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with Junior standing at the time of application, in an Engineering discipline.
