Job Description
Ensign-Bickford Aerospace and Defense Company is seeking talented college students to join our 2026 summer internship program. Our 12-week internship program is designed to provide real-world and hands-on experience in areas that interest you! As an intern, you will collaborate with industry experts to solve real-world challenges and change the way we do business.
Responsibilities/daily duties:
Assist in reviewing customer specifications to help identify system-level performance requirements and potential risks
Support the development of component-level requirement specifications under guidance from senior engineers
Help maintain and track requirement compliance using tools such as VCRMs (Verification Cross Reference Matrices)
Participate in system-level risk assessments and document management activities
Support interface documentation and tracking for EBAD devices and related components
Work with the team to help coordinate development milestones and prepare materials for program reviews
Help identify task interdependencies and assist with prioritization under supervision
Contribute to internal communication efforts, including status updates and issue tracking
Assist in compiling data and insights to help advise Program Managers on potential schedule risks
Support investigation and documentation efforts for unexpected technical issues or anomalies

Qualifications
Qualified candidates will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with Junior standing at the time of application, in an Engineering discipline.
