Job Description
DACH Relationship Management & Operations, Internship
Ares Management (on-site: Frankfurt a.M., Germany)
Role Overview:
The Intern will be part of the DACH Relationship Management team and will support us with Investor Operations and Servicing. The team is responsible for marketing the firm’s product offering to institutional investors.
The candidate will be assisting the firm’s strategic objectives related to fundraising and client service through managing data and analytical tools, driving operational efficiencies, as well as supporting on client interactions and events of the DACH region. The position reports to the head of DACH Relationship Management.
Primary Functions & Essential Responsibilities:
Provide support to the team members in their day-to-day operations.
Assist to maintain and update the CRM and other systems and databases.
Create and support on internal reports and analyses.
Assist with client inquiries, briefings, research, coordination of RfPs and other deliverables towards internal and external deadlines.
Provide organizational and project management support across the DACH region.
Help coordinate investor related events, conferences, & roadshows.
Qualifications:
Enrolled/Graduated in finance related course of study with strong academic track record.
Fluent in German and English. Strong communication and presentation skills preferred.
First experiences in the investment banking or asset management industry preferred.
Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and work independently towards tight deadlines.
Positive and hands-on attitude with a willingness and curiosity to learn.
Takes initiative and has a strong work ethic with an eye for detail.
Enjoys working with other people and networking with various stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office and ideally experience working with CRM systems.
Proactive problem solver with ability to research & suggest solutions.
