CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Game CHAnger to join our Utilities Infrastructure Team at our Albany, NY or Syracuse, NY office.
What You'll Do:
- Accelerate your growth through hands-on, business-critical assignments in gas engineering, electric distribution, transmission, and substation design
- Experience a unique rotational cycle across projects that advance grid resiliency, storm hardening, and energy transition initiative
- Benefit from structured learning, mentorship, and coaching from top experts in utility engineering
- Contribute to innovative solutions like microgrids, renewable integration, and battery energy storage systems (BESS)
- Collaborate with talented teams and engage in field assignments to gain hands-on experience in the design and implementation of resilient utility infrastructure
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering required. Graduation date of August 2025 or December 2025 is highly preferred
- EIT certification preferred
- No prior engineering experience required—internships or cooperative learning a plus
- Familiar with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
- Passion for energy infrastructure and a drive for continuous learning
- Analytical approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills
- Ability to thrive in changing environments and collaborate with diverse teams
- Passion for in office and field-based work assignments

Salary Range:
$68,000 - $80,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
