At CesiumAstro, we are developers and pioneers of out-of-the-box communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. We take pride in our dynamic and cross-functional work environment, which allows us to learn, develop, and engage across our organization. If you are looking for hands-on, interactive, and autonomous work, CesiumAstro is the place for you. We are actively seeking passionate, collaborative, energetic, and forward-thinking individuals to join our team.

As a GNC Intern, you will support the development of our in-house satellite, Element, by analyzing future satellite and constellation missions to drive technology roadmaps and business plans. This will be a project-based internship where you will get the opportunity to work on a space mission analysis assignment. You will work closely with CesiumAstro engineers on orbit design, mission analysis, system trades, and subsystem interactions. Interns will have the opportunity to contribute directly to CesiumAstro’s spacecraft programs through Element GNC analysis as well.
During the program, interns will present their work to peers, mentors, and Cesium executive leadership. As such, strong communication skills are essential.
