We are seeking a hands-onRobotics Hardware Engineer (Intern)to assist withprototype assembly, testing, and refinementof our humanoid robots. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers todebug hardware, fabricate components, and manage lab operations, gaining real-world experience inrobotics R&D.
Location & Schedule:
- On-site in Milpitas, CA
- Hours per week: 20–40
- September through December 2025
Responsibilities
- Assemble and testmechanical and electromechanical prototypes for humanoid robots.
- Assist engineersin electronics prototyping, soldering, and harness fabrication.
- Maintain lab equipmentand track inventory of parts and tools.
- Conduct basic machiningor 3D printing tasks for quick prototype iterations.
- Document processesand compile experimental data for performance analysis.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with aBachelor’s (or higher)inMechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering(or related field).
- Somehands-on experience(academic projects or internships) assembling or troubleshooting robotic systems.
- Comfortableworking onsite(20–40 hrs/week) in a lab environment.
- Familiarity withCAD software, basic machine shop tools, or circuit assembly is a plus.
- Strong communicationand teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn rapidly.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with3D printing, CNC, or other rapid prototyping methods.
- Exposure tosensor integration, harness assembly, or embedded electronics.
- Interestin AI-driven robotics and collaborative problem-solving.
