Professional Tools (RIDGID/Greenlee)  is looking for a marketing intern to join our team to and support our engagement and brand initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Engagement Marketing Manager to develop and execute campaigns, analyze data, and contribute to the development of specific marketing project strategies.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will:
  • Conduct and analyze internal brand and audit to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist in the planning, strategy, and execution of various events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the creation of sustainability messaging framework, internal messaging, and content calendar.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the industry as it relates to social media and influencer marketing
  • Map out customer journeys or interactions with the RIDGID and Greenlee brands
  • Assist with cross-departmental projects including strategy and execution of internal communications
  • Assist with other projects as assigned
     
Who You Are:

You balance planning with actions. You solicit both input and discussion. You focus on priorities and set stretch goals. 

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field from an accredited college or university

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including 

  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and collaboration skills

  • Passion for marketing and a willingness to learn
     

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • In process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in marketing

  • 2.75 cumulative GPA

  • Previous co-op/intern experience 

  • Experience with Canva
