AECOM Tishman has an opportunity in our Midtown offices for a Financial Accountant Intern.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Works under direct supervision completing assigned tasks in support of the controllership team.
May also support project accounting team.
Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Project Management, or a similar major with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
Candidates must have completed three years of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.
Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Willing to work on a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
