THE ROLE Our site in Bedford, MA is seeking a/an Production Engineer Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration. The Production Engineering Co-Op Position will support sustaining and quality assurance activities for manufacturing products and support continuous improvement projects to drive process efficiency and reduce quality inquiries. What You’ll Do • Support product quality initiatives. • Support root cause investigations of manufacturing excursions and out-of-control conditions by identifying gaps in processes, performing experiments, determining sources of variation, and implementing permanent corrective actions. • Reduce variation in product and process parameters by identifying key contributors to variation. • Make data driven decisions to support product quality, efficiency, and throughput. • Support qualification for new, improved, or changed processes. • Support capacity growth through equipment improvements and process qualifications. • Support machine breakdown by providing hands on assistance and guidance to remedy and correct issues. What We Seek • Prior manufacturing experience preferred. • SolidWorks Experience preferred. Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year • Student pursuing a BS in Chemical Engineering, or similar related engineering field. • Graduation in the Spring of 2026 or 2027. Eligibility • Must be a currently enrolled student • Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June. • Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Standard office environment with occasional lifting of heavier objects up to 35 pounds.
