The selected candidate will work with Operational Excellence to support Smart Factory and Sanofi Manufacturing Systems (SMS) initiatives led by this department to support the Swiftwater site. The department is currently focused on modernization, simplification, and standardization to increase the use of Digital tools.
The Intern will benefit from mentoring, coaching and side-by-side engagement with knowledgeable and experienced industry experts. Candidates will receive a hands-on learning experience with the opportunity to learn how new digital projects are implemented that integrate globally with our other Sanofi sites. They will gain experience with data collection and implementation of standardized tools to be used across several manufacturing areas. The Intern will also learn how to read and interpret functional and design documents, learn basic project management skills, create reporting tools to collect data, and work on presentation skills.

Main Responsibilities:
Assignments will vary based on the needs of the current implementations in progress including attendance at project meetings, issue resolution, presentations, documentation organization and communications
The candidate will be exposed to a wide variety of departments including Manufacturing, Quality Validation, Digital, Data Science, Supply Chain, and Global Business Process Owners
Our intern program will challenge and develop your technical, business, leadership, and communication skills
The experience learned during the internship can be applied to future career opportunities
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer/data science, or other related scientific field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2028
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40 hrs./week for the full duration of the internship/co-op
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AI (Artificial Intelligence), AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots)/Cobots, Computerized System Validation, or similar Manufacturing Digital Systems
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), TEAMs and SharePoint
Strong analytical, technical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Willing to work independently
Experience with Lean/Productivity improvement programs
Experience with Microsoft PowerBi a plus.

The salary range for this position is $29-$35 hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through LINK.
