Organization & Team Overview
Comcast’s Corporate and Financial Communications team, based in in Philadelphia, PA, develops and delivers strategic communications that amplify key company priorities and announcements. The team is made up of dynamic, strategic communicators and all-around creative thinkers who excel at transforming complex topics into meaningful narratives.
Role Description
If you are a driven, dedicated student who is a strong writer with a passion for strategic communications, this role is for you. You’ll support the corporate communications team in planning and executing strategies that elevate the Comcast brand among key audiences, with a strong focus on financial reporting and executive communications.
What are some interesting projects the student will work on?
As an intern on our corporate communications team, you’ll gain exposure to the communications/PR department of a leading Fortune 50 company. You’ll have opportunities to learn more about and engage with our Connectivity & Platforms and Content & Experiences businesses. You may also support initiatives related to our startup engagement groups and collaborate with other teams across the entire organization. Your work may include building media lists, monitoring and tracking press coverage, drafting press materials, conducting competitive analyses, and more. Responsibilities often evolve based on the company’s dynamic communications needs and the student’s areas of interest.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Help develop and execute communications strategies and special events around company priorities and announcements.
Help draft communications materials: press releases, blog posts, email pitches, etc.
Compile targeted media lists and research.
Conduct benchmarking and industry trend analysis.
Monitor and analyze press coverage.
Support strategic event planning and execution.
Collaborate across teams on high-visibility campaigns.
Other research, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
Ability to follow up with assigned tasks and deadlines in a timely manner.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach in contributing to the team and taking initiative on projects and tasks.
Ability to prioritize, use good judgement, and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Majors: Communications, PR, Marketing
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
