Product EngineerIntern

Analog Devices Inc. is seeking anambitious ECE studentasaProduct (Design Evaluation) Engineer to join ourRTP IC development team(Summer 2026).You will join a team of digital,analogand mixed signal CMOSengineers, algorithm and software developers implementingstate-of-the-artRF chips.As a member oftheProduct engineering team, you willbe responsible fora specific product or group of products from product definition through production and release.

Product Engineer willparticipatein pre-silicon system development emulations, verification of pre and post tape out. There arehuge varietyof tasks a product engineer can get involved in either software algorithm validation, digital, RF, analog evaluation etc.This role willprovidethe opportunity towork with the full development team as the product moves from concept to customer

  • Perform functional and performance testing of newsystemandcoretechnologies.
  • Debug, evaluate,characterizeand analyzeintegrated circuitsacross all operating conditions,documentand present findings todesign and thegreater team.
  • Utilize precision measurement equipment such ashigh-speedscopes,spectrumand network analyzers.required toestablishdifferent RF, analog, power, and/or digital performance metrics.
  • Develop bench hardwareand software to control and automate bench test equipment usingPythonand other programming languages
  • Navigate design databases for products to develop test solutions as well as make recommendations on testability, manufacturability, qualification readiness, and field quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in aBS or MS degree in EE or ECE(preferably a risingSenioror a candidate thatwill enteringan MSEE program in the Fall of 2026)
  • Experienceordesiredevelopingautomated bench measurements
  • Familiarity with bench test equipment including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators
  • Circuits knowledge that includesexperience in an area related toanalog circuits, RF circuits, signals and systems, ADCs, DACs, high speed serial interfaces, microcontrollers
  • Entry levelknowledge of a programing language such as LabVIEW, Python, Visual BASIC, HTML, and/or C/C++
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong time managementand team skills
  • Capable of clear,accurateandtimelycommunication;both written and verbal.
