As a U.S. Business Immigration Intern (attorney track) with EY Law LLP, you will assist companies in addressing the challenges associated with managing today's globally mobile workforce. EY Law LLP helps companies, and their employees, efficiently relocate wherever they are needed. The firm's comprehensive range of U.S. business immigration services includes obtaining both immigrant (green card) and non-immigrant status (temporary work visas), as well as providing a range of U.S. immigration advisory services for employees and their employers. This internship offers excellent opportunities for growth, development, and hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
As an intern, you will join our U.S. Business Immigration team. You will support the delivery of U.S. business immigration services and contribute to developing solutions for our diverse clients. You will gain exposure to technical legal expertise and assist in providing proactive and strategic business solutions that align with the needs of our clientele.

Qualifications:
- Close to graduating a Duel American/Canadian JD with plans to write the U.S. Bar
- Basic knowledge of U.S. immigration required
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated project management, teaming, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the willingness and ability to learn and work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Committed to integrity within a professional environment
- High level of professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information
Skills and Attributes:
- Learn and utilize your understanding of U.S. business immigration law, including PERM, NIV, and IV law, and apply this knowledge to client situations
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and submitting non-immigrant, immigrant, and PERM applications in a high-volume environment
- Support client deliverables and expectations while managing competing priorities
- Facilitate the legal movement of employees across borders for business travel
- Collaborate with law clerks and other client service team members
- Participate in implementing best practices within our U.S. immigration practice

What you can expect
- We are currently accepting 12-month internship applications for our U.S. Business Immigration team for September 2026. During this time, you would be on an attorney track.
