Job Description
As an IT Associate in Infrastructure Support, you will be called to assist our internal users with technical issues or questions relating to the modern workspace services at EcoVadis. This includes but is not restricted to workstations, network and enterprise applications. You will be managing requests and incidents from customers mainly through our service desk and communicating with them through the mentioned tool or over our messaging platforms, helping customers diagnose technical issues and resolving those.
- Provide high quality, professional and responsive IT support service to all users across the business on a range of different technologies.
- Operate support through the service desk based on the guidelines and best practices from the Service Management team.
- Support and train end users on solutions managed and maintained by the IT department.
- Manage the technical and process documentation where appropriate.
- Install, test and maintain corporate workstations and office peripherals.
- Troubleshoot basic system and network issues.
- Network patching and cable management.
- Monitor network availability and efficiency and act whenever necessary to maintain operations.
- Manage onboardings and offboardings with the help of HR.
- Manage end-user account lifecycle on enterprise applications.
- Understand user's needs and find short and long term solutions while keeping company objectives in focus.
- Monitor and assist in managing network appliances including Firewalls, switches and routers.
- Manage inventory, stock and purchase of ICT equipment.
- Execute as per operating procedures and contribute to develop/improve Knowledge Base
- Participate in IT related projects.
Qualifications
- On-going degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 1 year work experience in ICT support or Service Desk environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows OS.
- Good knowledge of computer networks.
- ITIL v4 Foundation will be a plus.
- Attentive focus on end-users and business goals
- Basic understanding of IT network security.
- Basic knowledge of information systems administration.
- Good knowledge of Google Workspace/GSuite products/Microsoft Office suite.
- Good organization skills, ability to systematize and prioritize.
- Attention to details
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Fluency in English required (written and oral).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and strong problem solving skills
- Versatile and multitasking.
