Our Broker Engagement team manages Talbot Underwriting’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practice, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.

About the Talbot Early Career Programme

When you join Talbot, you will be part of a connected cohort community of early career talent participating in a programme that will equip you with the skills and capabilities to enable you to launch your professional career. What you’ll do

• Work alongside our experienced distribution team managing broker relationships

• Gain exposure to cross functional departments at AIG and our broker partners.

• Work with the Broker Engagement team, assisting in projects supporting the growth of AIG

• Collaborate with other interns providing you with a wider knowledge of the company

• Build a strong internal and external network

• Participate in training sessions, networking events and mentoring opportunities

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2027.

• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector

• Evidence of extra-curricular activities

• A team player with strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.

• Strong analytical skills

• Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, proactive, and accountable.
