Hybrid position with both on-campus and remote work options.

We are seeking a motivated student intern to join our IT team and help develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform while serving as a technical resource to our Data and Analytics team members. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development in a higher education environment while building real-world applications that impact campus operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Power Apps Development: Design and build custom applications to streamline campus processes and improve user experiences 
  • Power Automate Workflows: Create automated workflows to eliminate manual tasks and integrate systems across the university 
  • Power BI Analytics: Develop dashboards and reports to provide data insights for decision-making 
  • Power Pages Development: Build external-facing portals and websites for campus community engagement 
  • Dataverse: Leverage Dataverse as a data source 
  • Technical Mentoring: Share knowledge and best practices with IT Director and team members 
  • Testing & Deployment: Ensure solutions meet quality standards and successfully deploy to production environments 

Required Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment a undergraduate or graduate student 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite 
  • Basic understanding of databases and data relationships 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with end users 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills 
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Power Platform components  
  • Familiarity with SQL or other query languages 

Technical Stack:

  • Development Platform: Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages) 
  • Data Sources: Dataverse 
  • Environment: Microsoft 365 ecosystem 

Position Details

  • Duration: Fall 2025 semester (approximately 15-20 hours/week) 
  • Schedule: Flexible, coordinated with class schedule 
  • Location: Hybrid (on-campus and remote work options) 
  • Compensation: $20/hour
