Assists AHQs and residency management by monitoring maintenance related programmatic activities to ensure performance goals are met. Ensure high-quality data entries, schedules, plans, and maintenance work are consistent with established guidance, directives, schedules and budgets. Coordinate activities and projects for assigned program area(s).
How you will contribute:
Complaint Resolution: Receive, investigate, and respond to customer and stakeholder concerns through a variety of means, including individual face-to-face meetings, communications in writing, etc.
Coordination and Communication: Disseminate information to various parties. Gather information, conduct research and provide findings to requesting parties.
Operational Support: Assist, coordinate, notify, and report on Residency maintenance work between internal and external stakeholders (i.e., LCAMS and District Communication Office) or weather events impacting roadways (i.e. VA Traffic) potentially affecting the traveling public.
Program Compliance and Recordkeeping: Plan and coordinate the digitizing of hardcopy documents; Review and manage electronic filing systems in support of the Residency's maintenance programs and operations to improve efficiencies and ease of access to data and other information.
Program Coordination Activities: Coordinate activities for assigned program area. Ensure activies are performed in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines.
Programmatic Support: Participate in field reviews and inspections. Perform data entry and create scoping plans, mapping products, and spreadsheets to enhance delivery of the Residency's maintenance programs including plans for Annual Pavement, Rural Rustic Roads, Tree Removal and M41 Snow Removal. Provides support for HMMS and ArcGIS mapping activities.
Project Management: Oversee or lead work on a varitey of projects related to assigned program area. Ensure work is performed in accordance with parameters and schedules.
Reporting and Systems: Update and maintain records, reports and systems related to assigned projects and programs.
Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance, guidance and interpretation of laws, regulations, policies and procedures for internal and external customers. Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance.

Skill in providing and promoting good customer service to internal and external customers.
Skill in the use of computers and software applications to include MS Office, MS Excel and web-based systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, especially during emergency operations.
Ability to gather data, conduct research, and create reports and correspondence.
Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
Ability to schedule, plan, and monitor work activities.
Experience tracking costs and preparing reports.
Knowledge of highway maintenance methods, practices, materials, and equipment.
Skill in providing and promoting good customer service to internal and external customers.
Skill in the use of computers and software applications
Valid driver's license.
Additional Considerations:
A combination of training, experience or education in roadway maintenance or construction.
Erosion and Sediment Control Certification.
Experience and knowledge in the use of engineering-based or mapping software applications.
