Comcast’s Impact and Inclusion (I&I) Team is dedicated to harnessing the power of our platforms and our people to create positive change. Under the Impact & Inclusion organization, this intern will work on the Finance, Insights, Lift Zones, Strategy & Sponsorships (FILSS) team focused on financial planning & analysis, data analytics & insights, business operations and strategy, and community partnerships including sponsorship investments and Comcast Lift Zones.

Join the Impact & Inclusion team for a dynamic summer internship where you’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of finance, social impact, and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to discover how data and financial planning power corporate responsibility initiatives that make a difference in our workplace and the communities we serve.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In this role, you will work on high-impact challenges that include:
Improving the accuracy and clarity of our charitable investment forecasts
Telling a compelling story using financial data
Analyzing community investment trends
Identifying ways we can better categorize and account for our impact work
Aligning our financial tracking and reporting with team priorities and initiatives
Where can this student make an impact?
This student will have the opportunity to strengthen the connection between financial strategy and social impact. Your work will help ensure that our charitable investments are managed effectively and communicated clearly. You will have the opportunity to bring your unique perspective and contribute ideas toward elevating our storytelling, enhancing our tracking & reporting, and shape how we utilize our resources and demonstrate our accountability to internal and external stakeholders, all while gaining exposure to how finance and strategic planning drives social good.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the development and maintenance of financial reporting for charitable and inclusion-focused investments
Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials that translate financial data into clear, strategic insights for leadership
Supporting accurate accounting and tracking of community investments
Collaborating across the team to align on strategic priorities, business planning, and financial investments
Helping to improve reporting templates and processes to enhance clarity and efficiency
Conducting research and providing input on how to improve the way we measure, report, and communicate impact
Analyzing data to support strategic planning and decision-making
Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
Strong analytical skills and comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial models
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
Effective written and verbal communication
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
Basic understanding of financial reporting and budgeting
Curiosity about social impact, corporate responsibility, and/or community investment
Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from a cross-functional team
Preferred Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Analytics/Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences (e.g. Research)
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2028)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $23.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
