The Human Resources-Learning and Development Intern will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define competencies and determine functional training requirements.
  • Identifying training content providers and evaluating product offerings.
  • Structuring training content programs to support employee development
  • Designing and delivering stakeholder communications related to competence and training program implementation.
  • Implementing program content in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Other projects as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college; Human Resources or Learning and Development related field preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • General knowledge of human resources and an understanding of related policies.
  • General knowledge of learning and development principles and best practices.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and respectful of highly confidential information.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels including leadership/executive teams.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in graphic design or related visual communication disciplines.
  • Strong technical and analytical competency.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed individual, with a self-directed attitude that can work in a creative and collaborative environment.
