Student Intern

The School of Data Science is seeking two motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable student interns to join the Office of Student Affairs team. These positions will provide hands-on experience in student services, event planning, and communications while supporting the mission of creating a vibrant and inclusive community for all SDS students. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Administrative Support:Provide front desk coverage, greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with day-to-day office operations. 

• Events:Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of Office of Student Affairs programs, workshops, and community-building events. 

• Marketing & Communications:Support outreach through flyers, social media, newsletters, photography, and other communication tools to highlight student programming and opportunities.  

• Student Engagement:Serve as a welcoming resource for students, helping to connect them with OSA staff, services, and initiatives. 

• Special Projects:Contribute to projects that enhance student belonging, wellness, and success, as assigned by OSA staff. 

Qualifications: 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work independently in a professional environment. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with Canva, social media, or event promotion is a plus. 

• Positive attitude, teamwork, and genuine interest in supporting the student experience at SDS.

Hours:

15-20 hours per week

Pay:

$16.00 per hour
