Manufacturing Programs Internship

Beehive Industries is dedicated to Powering American Defense by revolutionizing the design, development, and delivery of jet propulsion systems to support the warfighter. Through the integration of additive manufacturing, the company aims to meet the growing and urgent needs for unmanned aerial defense by dramatically improving a jet engine’s speed to market, fuel efficiency, and cost.

Founded in 2020, the company is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado, with additional facilities in Knoxville, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mount Vernon, Ohio. Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Programs Intern to join us for the summer of 2026. This position will be located in our Englewood, Colorado facility.  

Duties: 

• Maintain project schedule via Gantt charts and escalate/highlight root causes for schedule impacts 
• Interacting with outside vendors to communicate project scope and get updates on hardware status 
• Work with internal software systems to create work orders/purchase orders 
• Maintain engine hardware inventory and hardware status 

 Experience/Qualifications: 

• Applicable manufacturing engineering, aerospace, or supply chain experience from a previous internship / school is preferred.  
• Passionate about additive manufacturing and/or aviation/aerospace industry 
• Problem solving abilities that bridge aerospace design and manufacturing realities to schedule and budget commitments. 
• Able to define clear operational schedules, prioritizes and goals for operations and vendors. 
• Curious, flexible, adaptive. 
• Able to prioritize their tasks effectively 
• Highly Organized 
• Combination of technical and interpersonal skills. 
• Be able to work Monday-Friday on-site in our Centennial, Colorado location
