The Vehicle Motion Product Division develops innovative solutions for active driving safety including highly automated driving. Areas include: Antilock Braking Systems(ABS), Traction Control Systems(TCS), Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Sensors (wheel-speed, steering-angle, and yaw-rate); Electronics for occupant and pedestrian safety (airbag control and crash sensors).  As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses. These facilities house more than 1,700 associates who are dedicated to improving relationships with our customers and furthering Bosch's technologies

In this internship, you will work alongside requirements engineers and feature owners. Some of your responsibilities will include: 

  1. Help with the import of customer requirements
  2. Help with the analysis and linking of the requirements 
  3. Collaborate with SW engineers and function owner 
  4. Collaborate with test engineers to link appropriate test cases

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Automotive, or Computer Science) 
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Interest in software validation of automotive industry relevant products
  • Understanding of software V&V methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Knowledge of embedded software (C, C++, MATLAB, etc) 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in requirements engineering 
  • Experience with Agile development practices and project management tools
  • Junior class standing
