Position Overview:
In this role you will thoroughly test the new subscription portal of the NGSS, or Next-Generation Subscription System, for usability issues and confirm that it matches the features as designed, help define and describe new features for the subscription system, working with the appropriate product managers or other stakeholders, meeting any updated business requirements and incorporating dealer feedback, gather and analyze feedback from dealers regarding their experience with the new subscription store and provide support to the development team in preparing the dealer subscription portal for launch and post-launch maintenance, all with the support of a mentor and team.
Ideally, this candidate will work part-time Fall 2025 through Spring 2026 and transition into a full-time internship for Summer 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality assurance and testing to identify use cases and execute test plans for subscription store, document and report bugs/inconsistencies and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) from a dealer perspective
Collaborate with the development team to define feature requirements for development, assist in clarifying requirements as developers are implementing new features for the subscription store and participate in initial feature tests to confirm they are implemented according to requirements.
Develop and administer usability tests with dealers to collect feedback through interviews and focus groups for qualitative insights as needed.
Organize and analyze feedback data to identify key areas for improvement and present findings and recommendations to the project team.
Assist in providing content to create and update user manuals and training materials for the new dealer site and provide material advice to the training and support teams as needed as they develop their plans for the site
Recommended Skills & Experience
Candidates currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business or a related field
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product management, strategic marketing, and engineering
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem slicing skills with a detail-orientated and proactive attitude
Prior experience with e-commerce platforms or subscription services a bonus
Experience with Jira, Confluence and Google Workspace a plus
