SUMMARY

In this position, you will report to the Quality Control Supervisors and will work on streamlining the FAI, FPI, Receiving inspection process. Along with supporting the 5S initiatives in both Quality control areas.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

FAI Ballooning
Standard work creation
5S optimization – Digital and Physical workspace
NADCAP document review and improvement
FPI – FAI mapping
Net-Inspect data transfer and review
Create Standard Work documents.
Participate in Continuous Improvement Events.
All other duties assigned by management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, CREO, NX.
Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Techniques and applications.
Demonstrated proficiency in all MS Office applications.
Previous ERP experience welcomed (SAP preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work different shifts.
The successful candidate must meet all requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) & Controlled Goods Directorate (CGD) and be eligible to work in Canada
