What you’ll be doing
At Simplii Financial, we provide personalized, simple, yet flexible digital experiences for our clients, and accelerate revenue growth for OUR bank. Our client-centered approach builds relationships and improves sales and service through our digital and contact centre channels. As a Product and Growth Analyst on the Simplii Financial Client and Product Growth team, you will be helping develop strategies and implement tactics to drive sales, grow balances, product development and perform competitive analysis.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
Important information
You are enrolled in a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related at the time of the internship, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2026. MBA & Masters students are preferred.

Duration of Work Term: 4 months ( January 2026 – April 2026).

How you’ll succeed
Reporting and Quantitative Analysis - Create strategy documents and presentations for consultation and review with partners and stakeholders across the Simplii team leveraging excel, financial modelling, etc.
Competitive Understanding - Demonstrate proactive and ongoing monitoring, research, to understand trends and their impact on Simplii products and educate key stakeholders on the threats and opportunities.
Relationship Management - Collaborate with partners to identify new opportunities to drive growth amongst new and existing clients.
Leadership - Leading initiatives to drive Simplii’s Deposit products into the future and positively impact our P&L.
Proactivity and Ownership – Own various workstreams for Simplii Deposit products independently and will proactively drive those to successful completion.
