Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree with major in Data Analytics / Business Analytics, Business Administration/ Management, Economics, Finance, or Marketing

Term

  • 1 year in length [37.5 hours per week during the summer; ~18-25 hours per week during school year]
  • Internship to begin in May and end the following May
  • Location – Subaru Headquarters in Camden, NJ
  • $20 an hour (undergrad)

Qualifications

  • Current Juniors OR Seniors planning to pursue a Master’s Degree OR students currently enrolled in a Master’s Program
  • Must be an active student for the entire length of internship
  • Previous internship or work experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word,)
  • Research skills (market, industry, competitor)
  • Attention to data accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment (Remotely and Office setting)
  • Must be able to manage multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills

Responsibilities

  • Explore and monitor macro and micro trends as they pertain to the automotive industry
  • Competitive vehicle reporting and analysis
  • Subaru vehicle equipment and price analysis including equipment values and packaging and MSRP positioning
  • Develop and update price lists, price-related communications, and supporting documents
  • Special ad-hoc assignments to provide support with departmental and executive project requests

Subaru of America’s Product Management area is a fast-paced and exciting environment that provides an opportunity to experience business operations, product planning, and pricing on a national level.  This position is responsible for providing insight into the U.S. market and competitive automotive landscape.  This position will also be responsible for helping to collect, analyze, and report data related to the pricing and profitability of new vehicles.
