As a Store Operations Technology Intern, you’ll work at the intersection of innovation and retail execution—supporting the tools, platforms, and systems that power Lowe’s 1,700+ stores. This internship is part of the Store Operations organization and focuses on enhancing the digital solutions that store teams rely on every day. You’ll partner with technology and business stakeholders to evaluate system performance, gather user feedback, and contribute to projects that improve store-level operations, from task management to mobile devices to POS systems.

Do Your Best Work in Mooresville

This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up – we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.

What You Will Learn

  • Collaborate with Store Operations and IT partners to evaluate and improve store-facing applications and tools.

  • Assist with system testing, data collection, and user feedback to support enhancements and feature development.

  • Analyze performance metrics to help identify system or process bottlenecks affecting store operations.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, stand-ups, and sprint reviews to observe how product development aligns with business needs.

  • Document process workflows and help improve communication between technical and store support teams.

  • Contribute to projects that enhance associate productivity, customer service, and overall store efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

  • Expected graduation dates of December 2026 or May 2027.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.

  • Interest in systems design, retail operations, or technology implementation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic data analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology or product development is a plus.

  • Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization is a plus.
