International Accounting Internship


Cloudera is looking for a talented, motivated, and passionate Business and Finance Intern, to work with the International Finance Team on the overall financial reporting and financial operations of the EMEA and LATAM Regions.
You will also have the opportunity to participate with your fellow interns on team events and fundraising initiatives, it's not all work!


As an International Accounting Intern you will:
● Manage an International subsidiary at month end, quarter-end, and year-end
closing process and financial reporting package.
● Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process for other
entities
● Maintain and reconcile banks for a number of entities
● Manage journal entry process, including booking recurring monthly journals, bank journals, etc.
● Assist with Treasury functions, including forecasting cash requirements for an
assigned entity
● Maintain Fixed Asset sub-ledger for the assigned entity.
● Manage Finance Projects through all stages to completion. Present findings to
the International Finance team.
● Assist with Intercompany process across the regions, and align the with
Intercompany agreement terms.

● Maintain compliance with the Company’s existing SOX and internal control
processes, to include testing of the same.
● Oversee the external local accounting/compliance firm to ensure that all
regulatory compliance requirements are completed timely and accurately.
● Liaise with Treasury, Payroll, HR, Equity, Legal, FP&A, Tax, and the International Accounting headquarters to ensure day-to-day finance operational needs are met and assist in resolving issues and providing guidelines.
● Perform any other ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned on an as-needed basis.
● Follow and comply with all company standards and relevant compliance
requirements.


We're excited about you if you have:
● Foundation in accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting.

● Are pursuing a third level/bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related field.
● Working knowledge of local accounting principles and concepts. Knowledge of
US GAAP accounting preferred.
● Ability to multi-task, be agile, and work well in a dynamic environment.
● Team player with strong communication, customer service, organizational skills,
and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to meet deadlines, and to efficiently interact with various groups across
the company as well as outside of the company.
● Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
● Ability to perform within a hybrid working model, which incorporates a mixture of in-office and remote work.
