Intern – Analytical Science

Job Description

The role is for an Intern within the Analytical Development and Commercialization (ADC) Department at our site in Ballydine.

The role will be a fantastic learning and development opportunity for 3rd/4th year or Masters student currently studying within the scientific field.

The role will work directly within the analytical laboratories or Instrumentation groups.

Principal Accountabilities may include:

1. Provide general laboratory support/instrumentation support

2. Support non-release related activities

3. Support analytical instrument group with routine activities

4. Comply with all cGMP requirements

5. Assures compliance with all safety and environmental requirements. Compliance with other regulated areas such as HR policies.

6. Documentation of all testing activities and to input results into computerised laboratory systems.

7. Resource for the wider Analytical Development and Commercialization (ADC) department as required.

Technical:

· Have a knowledge of GMP standards

· Have a knowledge of Laboratory safety standards.

Business:

· To maintain accurate records in compliance with ALCOA principles and GMP expectations

· To understand and internalise procedures relevant to GMP operations.

· To communicate clearly and concisely on issues

· To liaise, as required, effectively with all groups – showing good team and interpersonal skills.
