About the role


The Human Resources Internship is designed to offer an array of experiences for a student pursuing a degree in Business.  Opportunities will vary based on the needs of the company at the time, but could include; recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, data analytics, and administrative responsibilities.  The objective is to provide hands on experience that is both educational for the Intern and will add benefit to the company. 

What you'll do


You will work under the direction of the AVP, People Operations & Talent Managmenet at all times and be provided training for all duties and responsibilities. 

 

As an intern your day to day activities will be dependent on current company needs and are expected to change throughout your internship. 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to 

Research and provide a summary of results on various HR solutions as requested; including software products, methods, systems, and processes. 

Assist with the recruiting and onboarding cycle  

Contact potential candidates to set up interviews and/or provide information 

Review current process and trends and provide analysis 

Gather data and record information accurately and thoroughly. 

Assist hiring managers with the creation of job descriptions and hiring plans 

Develop Career Page content, Job Postings, and other methods to market our Company to potential candidates.

Qualifications

Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field 

Previous experience in a professional or corporate setting helpful, but not required.
