Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
What You Will Do:
- Consults with plant management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall efficiency and product yields.
- Investigates alternative process materials/equipment to reduce overhead cost, improve efficiency, reduce maintenance cost and reduce safety risks.
- Develops and implements quality improvement and problem prevention procedures to continuously improve process efficiency, reduce quality
problems, and ensure compliance with customer requirements. - Seeks and evaluates input from manufacturing aimed at reducing costs, improving quality, and increasing throughput.
- Performs job review which includes process routers, bill of materials, process instructions and drawings before lot and or job release.
What You Will Learn:
- Manufacturing process fundamentals and processes
- Critical problem solving skills
- Gain experience with the professional workplace support, interaction, responsibility etc.
- Generator product experience and manufacturing practices.
- Function and responsibility of the wider company activities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's of Science Degree with a focus in Engineering. (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Industrial, Process, or similar).
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Prior internship experience
