The internship requires the candidate to work onsite in Torrance, CA for 40+ hours a week for 12 consecutive weeks during the summer of 2026.

Purpose
We are seeking motivated and passionateEngineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside world-class engineers and designers in an environment that pushes the boundaries of technology and performance. Interns will gain hands-on experience in design, testing, prototyping, and manufacturing across various engineering disciplines.
The Role
- Collaborate with engineering teams in areas such as mechanical design, structures, powertrain, aerodynamics, electrical systems, or manufacturing engineering.
- Support the design and analysis of components, assemblies, and systems for high-performance vehicles.
- Assist with CAD modeling, simulation, prototyping, and validation testing.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to support engineering decisions.
- Document technical work, present findings, and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
- Participate in day-to-day engineering activities within a fast-paced R&D and production environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing aBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA
- 40+ hours of weekly availability for 12 consecutive weeks (summer 2026)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong academic record with a passion for automotive technology, performance vehicles, and advanced manufacturing.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar) and basic understanding of engineering analysis (FEA, CFD, etc.) preferred.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other programming tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active leadership in Formula SAE, Baja, Hyperloop, rocket, UAV, or design teams
- Prior project, lab, or internship experience in advanced manufacturing or product development.
Work Environment
- Ability to lift 10-30lbs daily, bend, kneel, twist, and stand for extended periods of time
