Purpose

We are seeking motivated and passionateEngineering Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside world-class engineers and designers in an environment that pushes the boundaries of technology and performance. Interns will gain hands-on experience in design, testing, prototyping, and manufacturing across various engineering disciplines.

The Role

Collaborate with engineering teams in areas such as mechanical design, structures, powertrain, aerodynamics, electrical systems, or manufacturing engineering.
Support the design and analysis of components, assemblies, and systems for high-performance vehicles.
Assist with CAD modeling, simulation, prototyping, and validation testing.
Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to support engineering decisions.
Document technical work, present findings, and contribute to cross-functional problem-solving.
Participate in day-to-day engineering activities within a fast-paced R&D and production environment.

Basic Qualifications

Currently pursuing aBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Ability to work onsite in Torrance, CA
40+ hours of weekly availability for 12 consecutive weeks (summer 2026)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong academic record with a passion for automotive technology, performance vehicles, and advanced manufacturing.
Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, NX, or similar) and basic understanding of engineering analysis (FEA, CFD, etc.) preferred.
Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or other programming tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Active leadership in Formula SAE, Baja, Hyperloop, rocket, UAV, or design teams
Prior project, lab, or internship experience in advanced manufacturing or product development.

Work Environment

Ability to lift 10-30lbs daily, bend, kneel, twist, and stand for extended periods of time

Pay Range

$32—$35 USD
