Job Description:

​We’re looking for aMerchandise Operations Analyst Co-opwho will play a crucial role in building, generating, and maintaining department reports to support our dynamic team. You'll collaborate with BI & Data Analysts and Managers to develop efficient reporting solutions and address issues. This position offers the opportunity to work on special projects, establish partnerships across Merchandise Operations, and demonstrate your analytical skills to drive impactful business decisions.

What You’ll Do: 
  • Builds, generates and maintains department reports; audits, validates and updates report queries using reporting tools to support department needs.  
  • Gathers, extracts and cleanse data in various formats across several sources; translates into consumable data to drive reporting.  
  • Responsible for ensuring reporting requests are processed and communicated between impacted business groups; prepares and distributes regular reporting.  
  • Collaborates with BI & Data Analyst and Manager to understand data information requirements and develop efficient reporting solutions.  
  • Solve errors/issues with existing reporting and RPA output logs with support from Manager/BI & Data Analyst.  
  • Assist BI & Data Analyst in story writing (RPA) and ensuring developers have access to appropriate systemic requirements for RPA process.  
  • Manual creation of input files and validation (RPA).  
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with various areas of Merchandising; participate in special projects, as assigned.
About You: 
  • Currently pursuing a College Diploma or University degree, in Business Management or related area is an asset.  
  • Proven business reporting and analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret qualitative and quantitative statistical data, to aid in effective decision-making- including compiling large volume of data into significant information.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to implement and handle details, prioritize, time run and multi-task with limited supervision and sometimes under time pressure.  
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills which include the ability to effectively and efficiently resolve issues and implement solutions.  
  • Demonstrates interpersonal abilities to perform optimally in a collaborative and team-oriented environment, where partnering with others and building strong working relationships are critical.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively connect with different levels within organization.  
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office - Word, advanced Excel skills that include experience working with pivot tables, macros, modelling, formulas, Visual Basic coding and linking; experienced with database reporting solutions including MS Access an asset.
