Engineering Intern

Key Responsibilities 

• Support plant integrity management programs, including inspection tracking and condition monitoring.

• Assistin reviewing, as-buildingand updatingengineering drawings, control loop diagrams,safety systems, including safety interlocks and emergency shutdown logic.

• Contribute to HMI/control system improvements in collaboration with operations and automation teams.

• Conduct field walkdowns and engineering assessments under supervision.

• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and reports.

• Participate in hazard reviews and safety audits.

• Other duties as assigned.

Experience,Qualifications and Education

• Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering program

• Strong interest in industrial operations, process safety, or control systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google workspace. 

• Experience or familiarity with PLC programming is an asset

• Solid written communication skills to completethe requiredpaperwork.

• Possess effective verbal communication skills to interact with Company staff, contractors, and customers.
