The team is seeking an ambitious, mature individual with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job.Primary ResponsibilitiesInterns will work as integral members of deal teams conducting industry and company specific research, drafting pitch materials, client presentations, and internal briefing notes, and analysing company financials including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements. They will assist in preparing and reviewing financial models to support valuations and transaction analysis as well as tracking industry news and market developments within the telecom sector.Working in cross-border teams across London, Paris, and other Evercore global offices interns will be expected to demonstrate a strong interest in corporate finance and the broader investment banking landscape as well as an interest in the telecom market and adjacent industries. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation to learn and grow, and the ability to take on increasing responsibility in a demanding environment. A self-starter mindset, initiative, reliability, adaptability, and exceptional attention to detail are essential, along with the capacity to manage multiple workstreams under the tight deadlines.Specific QualificationsCandidates should hold an undergraduate degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering from a top-tier institution, with excellent academic results. Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate M&A, or another relevant finance-related role is preferred. Fluency in English is required alongside strong technical skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
