About the role

As a Buyer Intern you will support the purchasing team in their daily functionsThe Buyer Intern will work collaboratively & cross functionally with the sourcing/merchant team, forecasting team, warehouse operations & accounts payable. The Buyer Intern will get to experience first hand supply chain & logistics from start to finish. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain positive relationships with supplier partners via e-mail, virtual meetings & direct calls.

  • Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders & ensuring they are delivered ontime.

  • Address & rectify any quality concerns of raw materials presented by culinary & operational teams to supplier partners.

  • Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners.

  • Work collaboratively with sourcing/merchant team to meet launch dates of new raw materials.

The experience you have

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program, with at least one year remaining.

  • Team player that appreciates other points of view & ideas

  • Has a sense of urgency & great attention to detail

  • Able to grasp concepts quickly and apply the learning

  • Self-starter that does not mind seeking answers & information 

  • Embraces a fast-paced environment & can pivot as needed

Base Salary: $36 per hour.

Wonder Group uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.
