Location: Bedford Park, IL (Argo)

What you will do:

  • Assist in the standardization of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM)
  • Analyze EHS related data to identify trends and assist in the development of appropriate action plans
  • Explore EHS opportunities to improve efficiency, health, ergonomics, safety and overall performance within the site
  • Working well with others in the site; effectively communicating with colleagues, project teams, including cross-functional team members, and key partners
  • Coordinating, summarizing and reporting data generated from related projects
  • Assist with the Ingredion’s EHSS Database and trends
  • Presenting an overview of the activities and progress of the role to the Argo Leadership Team

What you will bring:

  • Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written technical communication skills, e.g. making presentations and writing technical data/reports

  • Working knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day

  • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s degree program. If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.

Pay Range: $22-31/hour

Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
