We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intern (Master's) Marketing - Process Technology to join our team. You will support the technical execution and implementation of our end-to-end digital campaigns for the ESS business. Working both independently and through an internal agency of marketing automation and functional specialists, you are to ensure that our lead generation programs are set up and operating as required.
Location: Rosemont, IL
The hourly base range for this position is $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVE
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Economics, Finance or a related field bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university.
- Must graduate December 2026 or later
- Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
- Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
- Minimum of two years working experience in customer marketing, digital marketing or B2B demand generation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong English skills (written and verbal).

- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools, such as Salesforce, Marketo and Tableau.
- A deep understanding of digital lead generation campaigns and tactics.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing processes, cycles and operations.
- Strong analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and returns on marketing investments (ROMI) from customer engagement efforts.
- Works well with cross-functional teams and across global cultures.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with campaign owners to ensure campaigns are planned, created, tested and launched on time.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, including budget, timeline and resource management.
- Measure and report on campaign performance on monthly basis and use this report to optimize future campaigns.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to prepare Tableau and Salesforce dashboards, providing actionable insights into customer behavior and marketing performance.
- Analyze our competitive landscape and customer insights to develop strategic marketing plans.
- Understand customer needs to develop messaging and content that will encourage prospects down the marketing funnel.
- Build a customer decision journey (CDJ) and persona development for our market.
- Develop NPI plans in accordance with launch requirements.
- Build audience lists from existing data to drive targeting and communications.
- Develop compelling brand content and stories with internal and external creatives.
- Partner with business leads, offering management, sales excellence and external agencies to implement integrated programs surrounding key solutions, products and services.
- Utilize data to support overall marketing strategies including ROI, campaign effectiveness, marketing channel optimization and customer insight mining.
- Plan and execute experiential programs at trade events, including presentation development, event promotion, booth experiences, and post event communications.
- Qualify Leads in SFDC and share details with the appropriate sales teams.
- Build enablement materials to help our sales teams drive revenue across the business.
- Leverage data and analysis to assess the impact and performance of marketing tactics and conduct A/B testing to identify best practices.
