About the role

Are you looking for a creative, dynamic work environment where you can make a real impact?

Join Adobe’s mission to redefine and standardise the Content and Collaboration Platform. We’re building a suite of cloud services that power seamless collaboration across desktop, mobile, and web products—enabling developers to choose the right mix of storage and collaboration tools for exceptional user experiences.

As part of the Content and Collaboration Services team, you’ll contribute to services used across Adobe SaaS offerings like Adobe Express and desktop products, operated globally on AWS. You’ll work in a cross-functional team to develop, deploy, and own dockerised Java microservices—“build it and own it!”

You’ll be based in Hamburg, collaborating with teams in the USA and India. We’re looking for self-directed, team-oriented individuals eager to learn from experienced colleagues and kickstart their career in software engineering.

What you will do

  • Work in a cross-functional team with full ownership of the services you develop.

  • Enhance platform architecture to support current and future standard processes.

  • Contribute to high standards of code quality, robustness, and security.

  • Follow secure development principles and foster a culture of continuous learning.

  • Collaborate with Adobe internal client teams integrating with the Content Platform.

What you need to succeed

  • Strong programming skills in Java.

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms, containerisation, and distributed systems.

  • Proactive mindset—if you see something, speak up.

  • Committed to teamwork, self-organisation, and continuous improvement.

  • Fluent in both German and English.

What to expect from the recruitment process. Our selection process typically consists of three stages as follows:

60-minute Online Assessment.

90-minute Technical Interview with the team.

45-minute Soft-Skills Interview with the Hiring Manager.
