Organization & TeamOverview
The intern will join Comcast’s AI product team within our Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) team supporting the XLR8 program. XLR8 is Comcast’s AI product, designed to harness advanced machine learning and enterprise AI platforms to deliver smarter, faster, and more personalized customer experiences across the subscriber lifecycle—from acquisition to retention to upsell.
Our team brings to market AI that support high-impact business programs such as Retention 3.0, Winback, and Acquisition targeting. We collaborate across data science, engineering, marketing, and care operations to translate complex data signals into real-time decisioning and personalized customer outreach, ultimately driving millions in monthly recurring revenue and subscriber growth.
The intern will work closely with AI product managers, data scientists, and marketing strategists—gaining exposure to real-world applications of AI in a Fortune 50 environment while contributing meaningfully to key initiatives aimed at optimizing customer lifetime value.

As an AI ProductIntern you will help power one of the company’s most cutting-edge programs—which uses machine learning, predictive modeling, and automation to optimize how we retain, grow, and connect with millions of customers. You’ll work alongside data scientists, product managers, and marketing strategists to turn insights into action, contributing to initiatives like Retention and Acquisition that are shaping the future of how Comcast engages its customers.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you might help optimize Comcast’s Retention 3.0 AI engine by analyzing how customers respond to real-time offer recommendations. You may also explore new behavioral signals and collaborate with data scientists to enhance churn prediction models—driving smarter, faster decisions that impact millions of customer interactions each month. Our Acquisition program needs support expanding to new channels leveraging our AI assets. In this role you might also support this new customer focus

Where can this student make an impact?
You’ll be working alongside some of Comcast’s top AI, data, and marketing talent as we expand the XLR8 program’s role in driving subscriber growth and retention. Success in this role means improving the precision and speed of our AI-driven customer treatments—helping reduce churn, boost retention offeracceptance, and deliver measurable lift to monthly recurring revenue. Your work will be instrumental in scaling Retention 3.0 strategies across channels, shaping how Comcast engages millions of customers with smarter, more personalized experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist in the development and analysis of AI-powered reporting tools for Retention 3.0 program performance.
Support exploration and validation of new customer data signals to enhance churn prediction and personalization models.
Build visualizations and dashboards to monitor offer acceptance, churn rates, and campaign effectiveness.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and marketing stakeholders to inform and refine model-driven treatments.
Document workflows and learnings to support knowledge transfer and scaling of successful solutions.

PreferredSkills
Exposure to or interest in machine learning concepts and applications in a business context.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar for data querying and analysis.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
Ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with shifting priorities.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Senior only- must have graduation date between Winter 2026- Spring 2027.
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2026 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program starting June 1, 2026, through August 14, 2026
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $32.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
