About The Role:

The Data Platform team at DriveWealth builds and maintains the company’s holistic data ecosystem. We power:

  • Data Ingestion - pipelines that bring data from diverse internal and external systems
  • Semantic Data Layer - Curated datasets that enable analytics reporting and decision making
  • Reporting and Compliance -  Data products that support partners and regulatory obligations

As an intern you will work alongside senior engineers to contribute to these areas while learning best practices in modern data engineering.

What You'll Do:

  • Support development and testing of data pipelines (batch and streaming)
  • Assist in building and maintaining high quality datasets used for analytics and reporting
  • Learn how to monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot data quality issues
  • Partner with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into technical Solutions
  • Gain exposure to modern data engineering tools and workflows (Databricks, Spark, dbt, Airflow, AWS)

What You’ll Need:

  • Strong foundation in Python and SQL
  • Familiarity with concepts in data structure, algorithms and relational database
  • Curiosity about large-scale data systems and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a team setting

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Exposure to big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)
  • Coursework or projects in data engineering, machine learning or distributed systems

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or MBA degree with a graduation date between December 2026 and June 2028
  • Be available full-time and in-person for 40 hours per week 
  • Must reside in NY-metro area, relocation support will not be provided
  • Must be available from Monday, June 1, 2025 to Friday, August 14, 2025

This is a full-time, in-person internship involving 40 hours per week. Deadline to apply is Friday, October 31, 2025

Compensation
Compensation package offerings are based on candidate experience and technical qualifications, as it relates to the role. These are identified and determined throughout your interviewing experience.

$35$35 USD
