Summary

  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of computer networks, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Assist with account and access administration directly and via the Azure cloud.
  • Participate in the development, testing and evaluation of new software applications and systems.
  • Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Assist in the documentation of IT processes and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in information technology.

The Intern will learn about the following:

  • Incident Management and end user support
  • Cloud administration via Microsoft Azure (Entra, Intune, Autopilot, etc.)
  • Network and security
  • Software development and integration
  • IT Project Management
  • IT operations and infrastructure
  • User training and documentation

Skills/Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled at the time internship commences and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Strong interest in technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field.
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware, software, cloud, AI, and networking concepts.
  • Familiarity Microsoft 365 – Windows 10/11 and full MS Office 365 suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills using tools such as Excel and PowerBi.
  • Strong written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Professionalism and a strong work ethic.
