Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a summer 2025 Accounting Intern to join the Pass & Seymour Team in Syracuse, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the monthly financial closing process, including preparation/loading of journal entries.
• Monthly/Quarterly Controls Compliance Audits/Reviews.
• Assist with Fixed Asset activities including new assets and retired assets.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Assist with Sales Tax Certificate Compliance and CertifyTax Project.
• Assist with development and creation of standard Sales Force System reporting.
• Deductions Analysis & Reporting project including reporting buildout utilizing Power BI Tools.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Requires close attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong technical aptitude, particularly in the creation and development of spreadsheets.
• Ability to use web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
• Good work ethic and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Education:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university studying Accounting, Finance or Business-Related field. Completion of one or more semesters of related coursework.
