We are Disney’s Yellow Shoes, the award-winning, in-house creative shop for Disney Destinations. Every day, we have fun creating compelling, memorable work for one of the greatest brands on the planet.
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - January 2026.
What You Will Do
As a Creative Copywriting Intern with Disney’s Yellow Shoes, you will get the chance to stretch your creative muscles on one of the greatest brands on the planet. We are looking for someone who will create effective copy committed to creative problem solving. The ideal candidate will be a versatile storyteller who can write short and long formats, who can think for a range of advertising mediums. As a Creative Copywriting Intern, you can expect to…
- Write content to be used on channels associated with the Disney Parks and Resorts group.
- Participate in ideation sessions along with senior creative leadership.
- Be timely – delivering projects on schedule, meeting deadlines.
- Deliver polished and well-written creative materials for internal and external presentations.
- Construct creative presentation under the guidance of a creative leader.
- Contribute exceptional writing skills, understanding and mastering various brand voices and styles.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficiency in Word.
- Copywriting or related coursework academic knowledge.
- Knowledge of working within an Advertising Agency or similar creative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the Walt Disney Company history including films, animation, television and theme parks.
- Studied advertising or taken related coursework.

Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Major or previous coursework in Writing, Advertising, or related major preferred
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
- Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Orlando, FL area
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
