Who will you work for?

You will be working for one of our r8fin teams. The r8fin team as a whole is responsible for the r8fin product and business line which include the AIR UI, the Cockpit OMS, and the smart order router and spread engine applications. Additionally, the team works closely with Dealerweb Streams and CLOB team and the Tradeweb Rates team. Daily work or projects include analysis of order execution quality (slippage and transaction cost) and exploratory analysis for potential new features and working with developers to build new products and features.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Knowledge of modern software languages – C, C++, Java, Python
  • A background or interest in building large-scale, real-time, and distributed applications is desired. 
  • Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working both independently and within a small team.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • A passion for technology.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills. 
  • Basic knowledge of financial product a plus (futures, treasury securities etc)
  • Knowledge how to write SQL queries
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau a plus
  • Knowledge of some statistics and ML techniques a plus

The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $35-$75 hourly based on a regular, full-time schedule.  The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
