SUMMARY
The Digital Manufacturing Intern will have the opportunity to support the development of SCADA and MES interfaces, assist in creating production reports, and help test internal and vendor tools. The objective is to expand the intern’s understanding of the digital technology field while applying academic knowledge to real-world business challenges.
YOUR IMPACT
- Support development and refinement of SCADA and MES interfaces using platforms like Ignition.
- Assist in creating production reports (e.g., cycle time, OEE, downtime) for manufacturing visibility.
- Participate in structured testing of internal tools and vendor applications.
- Contribute to small-scale proof-of-concepts (POCs) for evaluating digital solutions.
- Help document digital manufacturing architecture, standards, and process flows.
- Attend daily huddles and meet weekly with the hiring manager for review and mentorship.
*Job duties will vary depending on business unit and location of internship.
This internship is fulltime, 40 hours per week, during the summer of 2026.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Student working towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or other related engineering field for entire duration of internship
- Willing to travel or relocate to Dodge Center, MN for the Summer of 2026 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Dodge Center, MN)
- General understanding of information technology concepts and practices

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to quickly learn new tools, programs, and processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing and prioritizing multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
