This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as an IT Business Analyst – Data & Regulatory Reporting intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:
Support reporting initiatives, assist in documentation, and gain exposure to global financial regulations and enterprise reporting tools.
Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements for regulatory reporting.
Support the preparation and validation of financial reports under various regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, CFTC, MiFID, EMIR, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, Canada).
Participate in data reconciliation and variance analysis.
Help maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and data mapping documentation.
Collaborate with Front to Back Office, Client Onboarding, Collateral Management and Technology teams to understand reporting workflows.
Contribute to testing activities and process improvement initiatives.
Research regulatory changes and summarize potential impacts.
Gain hands-on experience in trading data analysis, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Candidates should be:
Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines, with a strong interest in converting to a full-time role post-graduation.
Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in financial services and regulatory compliance within a technology-driven organization.
Effective communicators with strong analytical and organizational skills, able to collaborate in a global team-oriented environment.

Salary Range:
$41,600 - $65,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
